Rosemarie Gunther, a dedicated and compassionate soul, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus, Easton, PA. She was 62 years old. Born on August 25, 1963, in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of Everett Earl "Eddie" Gunther and the late Rosemarie (Felice) Gunther. Rosemarie built a life filled with love, service, and warmth.
A proud graduate of Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1981, Rosemarie went on to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse (RN). She spent many fulfilling years at the Hunterdon Developmental Center and with the Hunterdon Health organization, where her commitment to caring for others shone brightly. Her outstanding work ethic was a testament to the values instilled in her by her father, Everett Earl "Eddie" Gunther, who survives her, alongside her sister and brother-in-law, Anne and John Whelan of Easton, PA.
Over her 30-plus years residing in Bloomsbury, NJ, Rosemarie filled her home with the warmth of culinary delights, particularly expressing her love for cooking Mediterranean-style meals. Her passion for food was just one of the many facets that illustrated her vibrant personality. A lover of laughter, she exuded kindness and joy, leaving a lasting impression on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rosemarie was not only devoted to her profession; she also cherished her time spent with family and friends. She had a passion for medical research, always eager to lend a helping hand to those with health concerns. In her leisure moments, she found solace in the companionship of her beloved dog, Carmelata aka "Carmie", and enjoyed hosting delightful tea parties and gatherings with her friends.
In addition to her achievements and friendships, Rosemarie will be remembered as a beautiful person both inside and out. Her caring nature and zest for life will live on in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.
She was predeceased by her mother, Rosemarie Felice Gunther, in 2000; her sister, Alexandrea Pavlica, in 2024; and her uncle, Alexander "Sonny" Felice, Jr. A woman of strength and character, Rosemarie's legacy will endure through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, on Tuesday morning, December 16, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by a procession to Bound Brook Cemetery where there will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in the family plot amidst the serene surroundings where her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration for those she left behind.
As a final act of love, Rosemarie was an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others.
