Diana Pappalardo Mack Paller, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2025 at Independence Manor at Hunterdon, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Queens, NY, June 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Leah (Corbella) and Richard Frigerio.
She was predeceased by her husbands: Joseph Pappalardo, Edward J. Mack, and John A. Paller.
A devoted communicant of St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, Diana was deeply involved in her parish community. She served on several committees at St. Magdalen’s and volunteered her time with both the Arc of Hunterdon County—where she was also a former board member—and the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA). She also served on the board of the Hunterdon County YMCA.
Diana delighted in cooking for her family and friends, often focusing on her specialties such as gnocchi, risotto, and other recipes passed down from her mother. Her apple pies and German chocolate cake were family favorites during the holidays. She enjoyed creating beautiful arts, crafts, and knitted pieces, which she generously gifted to others, and she treasured her time playing bridge with her dear friends.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Janis Pappalardo of Bethesda, MD, her daughter, Lori Ann Pappalardo of Raritan Township, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, David and Maria Pappalardo of Metuchen, NJ; as well as grandchildren: Daniel, Leah, Lindsey, and Jake Pappalardo.
Additionally, Diana is survived by nine step-children, including Deborah and Frank Corbo of Montville, NJ, and Ginny and Mike Dean of Pittstown, as well as ten step-grandchildren—among them Andrea Corbo—and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Diana was a woman of remarkable resilience and strong faith. While dedicating much of her life to caring for a child with disabilities, she continuously sought ways to serve and support others. Despite facing profound personal loss, she maintained a steadfast devotion to her family and her faith, inspiring all who knew her with her strength, grace, and generosity of spirit.
