Zelma H. Stokes

Zelma H. Stokes, age 71 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on March 26, 1994 at her home in Flemington Borough, NJ. Born in Newton-le-Willows, England on July 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Norman Aitken and Elizabeth Bailey. Mrs. Stokes was a veteran of World War II, serving in Britain's Women's Auxiliary Air Force. In addition, she worked as the bookkeeper at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ for years. Zelma was survived by her husband, James M. Stokes. The burial was private.
