William W. Ackerman, age 69 years, of Clinton, NJ, died February 4, 1982 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.

Born November 4, 1912 in New Jersey, he was the son of William and Mary (Rue) Ackerman. He was an electrical engineer.

Mr. Ackerman served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He was survived by his wife, Ruth (Grasberger) Ackerman.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
