William S. Combes, age 94 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on January 10, 1997 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Ridgewood, NJ on November 12, 1902, he was the son of the late Alanis Combes and Irma Dane Combes. Mr. Combes was an investment banker, working at Salomon Brothers in New York City. William was predeceased by his wife, Frances Kruithoff Conbes, who passed away in 1982. The burial was private.
