William Reed

William Reed, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born on December 20, 1965, in Raritan Township, NJ, where he lived his entire life.

William dedicated a significant part of his career as a waiter at MOMS restaurant, where he built lasting relationships with both colleagues and patrons. His warm demeanor and attentive service made every dining experience a little brighter for those who crossed his path.

Outside of work, William found immense joy in visiting casinos and attending carnivals and fairs. His vibrant spirit and enthusiasm were evident in all his pursuits, allowing him to create cherished memories with those around him.

William is survived by his sister, Patricia Wright, and his brother, Kevin Reed, who will deeply miss his kindness and laughter. He is also survived by his companion and close friend Dorothy Gilde. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Reed, and his mother, Florence Hockenbury.

In his final moments, William was surrounded by family and close friends at home, a testament to the love that he fostered throughout his life. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be fondly remembered for his generous spirit, dedication to his work, and love of life.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time to be announced under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
