William John Gerhartz

William John Gerhartz, age 77 years, of Pittstown, NJ, died on April 18, 2001 at his home in Union Township, NJ. Born on February 15, 1924, he was the son of the late Max M. Gerhartz and Matilda (Roll) Gerhartz. Mr. Gerhartz was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. In addition, he installed and repaired scales and weights for his company, the Gerhartz Scale Corporation, in South River, NJ. William is survived by his wife, Irene (Christ) Gerhartz. The burial was private.
