William E. Studdiford Iii

WILLIAM E. STUDDIFORD III, 68, of BAY HEAD, died at Brick Hospital. He was an electrical engineer at Bell Labs. He worked on the Telstar satellite project. He was born in Manhattan and was educated at St. Bernards School, New York City, and South Kent School in Connecticut. He continued his education at Princeton and Monmouth Universities. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was an active member of The Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association.

Surviving are his wife, Jo-hanna Schenk; a son, Andrew; a daughter, Elizabeth; sisters, Margaret and Rosalie; 2 grandchildren.
