Werner Markus

Werner Markus, age 73 years, of La Costa, Carlsbad, CA, died on February 10, 1996. Born in Germany on January 11, 1923, he was the son of the late Adolf Markus and Elsa Goldsmith Markus. Mr. Markus was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He then ran Werner Appliance Store in Flemington, NJ, retiring in 1980. Werner is survived by his wife, Doris B. Markus, their children, and four grandchildren. Interment in the Jewish Community Center of Flemington Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
