Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on June 19, 1895, he was the son of the late Aaron A. Allegar and Susie Kitchen.

Mr. Allegar was survived by his wife, Matilda (Pedrick) Allegar.

Interment in Cherryville Mountainview Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ.
