Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on August 7, 1873, she was the daughter of the late William B. Reep and Henrietta Myers.

She was predeceased by her husband, George W.R. Buchanan, who died in 1949.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
