Thomas P. Tippett

Thomas P. Tippett, age 64 years, of Morrisville, Pa., died Wednesday, April 11,2012, at his home.

Born in Somerville, NJ, October 30, l947, son of the late Harold and Louise Patterson Tippett, he had formerly resided in Neshanic, NJ and in Flemington, NJ.

He was a self-employed finish carpenter and was active at Buckingham Friends Meeting, Lahaska, Pa. He attended Wittenburg University in Ohio and was an accomplished musician, choral singer and gardener. Tom also served with the US Marine Corps and was discharged with the rank of Sergeant.

Surviving are a son, Trevor Makepeace of Clearlake, CA; and two brothers, Richard Tippett of Watsonville, CA. and Paul Tippett of Lumberville, Pa.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 22,2012, at 3:00PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Buckingham Friends Meeting, PO Box 76, Lahaska, Pa. 18931
