Born in Highland Mills, NY on June 26, 1899, he was the son of the late Thomas Hughes and Jessie Weldon.

Mr. Hughes was a truck driver for the Hershey Creamery Company in Harrisburg, PA.

Thomas was married to Pearl R. Hughes.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
