Thelma M. Van Lieu

Thelma M. Van Lieu, age 41 years, of Rote 202, died Saturday, November 23, 1985 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.

Born in Hunterdon County, Miss Van Lieu was a lifelong area resident and a 1962 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School.

For the past 20 years, she was employed by the transit department of First Fidelity National Bank, Flemington.

She was an elder, Sunday school superintendent and teacher at the Amwell First Presbyterian Church, Reaville.

Surviving are her parents, Oscar and Margaret Van Lieu of Jonestown, PA.; two brothers, Richard Van Lieu of Lebanon and Thomas Van Lieu of Jonestown, PA; five sisters, Jean Leichte of Cary, NC, Nancy Cramer of Rosemont, Irene Kuhl of Ringoes, Katherine Smith of Alpha and Pamelia Van Lieu of Jonestown, PA; and 16 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville.
