Steven J. Gobillot

Steven J. Gobillot, age 36 years, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in Robert Wood Johnson-University Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, October 17, 1967, son of the late Frederick A. and Jeannie Tatsapaugh Gobillot, Sr., he had formerly resided in Raritan Township most of his life until moving to Illinois thirteen years ago.

He was a Senior Project Manager for Pepper Construction Co., Lake Forest, IL. A 1986 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, he went on to graduate from Rutgers University. Mr. Gobillot was a member of the A.S.A., Contracting and Engineering Affiliates.

Surviving are his wife, Denise Edwards Gobillot; three children, Haley, Ellie and Jonathan, all at home; two brothers, Frederick A. Gobillot, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC and Theodore D. Gobillot of Houston, TX; and four sisters, Christine Gobillot of Tinton Falls, NJ, Aline Paskalides of Saratoga Springs, NY, Jeannette Solomon of Stockton, NJ and Julie Messa of Denver, CO.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
