Stefania Oceanak

Stefania " Stella " Oceanak, age 90 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Manville, NJ, January 14, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Krystyna Liski Wasyliko. She had formerly resided in Frenchtown, NJ, and had resided in Kingwood Township, NJ since 1963.

She was a retired telephone operator with the former NJ Telephone Company, Frenchtown, NJ.

She was a member of the Flemington Moose Lodge and the Red Hat Club.

Her husband, Milton Oceanak, died in 1971. Surviving are three daughters, Terry Andriola of Bushnell, FL, Ellyn Oceanak of Dunellen, FL, and Cynthia Oceanak-DeBaro of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Garry Oceanak of Brick, NJ, and Dirk Oceanak of Kingwood Township, NJ; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
