Born October 2, 1890 in Kingwood Township, he was the son of John C. and Jennie (Kugler) Opdyke. He was a farmer.
Stacy's wife, Bessie (Philkill) Opdyke, died in 1978.
Funeral services were held in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont.
