Sophie Kurtz

Sophie Kurtz, age 55 years, of Pittstown, NJ, died October 24, 1980.

Born July 18, 1925 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of Stanley and Tekla (Spirich) Gorczyca. She was a former clerk at the Flemington Department Store.

She was survived by her husband, Edward L. Kurtz; a son, Edward Kurtz of Pittstown; two daughters, Mrs. Kristine Booth of Pittstown and Miss Kathleen Kurtz of Raritan; and four sisters, Miss Jane Gorczyca and Mrs, Mary Roba, both of Piscataway; Mrs. Bernice Munnings of Linden, and Mrs. Helen Kallaur of Perth Amboy.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Magdalen Church, Flemington. Interment was in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington.
