Sen. Walter "Moose" Edge Foran

Senator Walter E. Foran, age 67 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ died on December 8, 1986 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ on May 14, 1919, he was the son of the late Arthur F. Foran and Elizabeth Fisher.

Mr. Foran was a United States Army veteran, serving from 1940-1961. He obtained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

After his retirement from the U.S. Army, he went on to work as a sales representative. He then served as a State Senator from 1977-1986.

Walter was survived by his wife, Anne (Mulherin) Foran.

Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
