Samuel Stewart

Samuel Stewart, 56, of North Main Street, died Monday, February 3, 1986 at his home.

Born in Buffalo, NY, Mr. Stewart was a former resident of Brooklyn, NY and resided in Flemington for 19 years. He was a sales manager for the Kuhl Corp. in Flemington.

A Coast Guard veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge No. 1928 and the Flemington American Legion Post No. 159.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Monfort Stewart; three sons, John Stewart of San Raphael, Calif.; Glenn Stewart, at home, and Gordon Stewart, stationed with the US Marines stationed in Fort Sill, Okla.; a daughter, Susan Stewart at home; his mother, Elizabeth Stewart of Grand Island, NY; a brother, Peter Stewart of Kenmore, NY; and a sister, Mae Deptula of Buffalo, NY.

Funeral services were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington.
