Ruth P. Albing, age 82 years, of Bernards Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 10, 2005 in Fellowship Village, Bernards Township, NJ, where she resided.
Born in Buffalo, NY, August 13, 1922, daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Claydon Popalisky, she had resided in Bernards Township for the past 8 years, having previously resided in New London, NH and Grand Island, NY.
She worked for the Grand Island, NY School System for many years. Mrs. Albing was also a member of the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church and a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Grand Island, NY and also of First Baptist Church, New London, NH. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a philanthropic and educational organization interested in bringing to women increased opportunities for higher education.
Her husband, George K. Albing, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Robin Albing and Don Castle of Readington Township, NJ and three grandchildren, Donald, Elizabeth and Alexander Castle, all of Readington Township, NJ.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Fellowship Village, 8000 Fellowship Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. Interment will be private in Old Main Street Cemetery, New London, NH. There are no calling hours.
