Born in Ringoes, NJ on August 1, 1910, he was the son of the late Cyrene Shepherd, Sr., and Mary Etta Horn.

Mr. Shepherd was formerly employed by Acme Markets in Flemington.

Russell was survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Muller) Shepherd, of Flemington.

Interment in Union Cemetery, Boss Road, Ringoes, NJ.
