Rubien Reynolds, age 93 years, of Frenchtown, NJ, died on September 19, 2002 at his home in Kingwood Township, NJ. Born in Columbia, South America on June 10, 1909, he was the son of the late Jose Rubiano and Irene (Gonzalez) Rubiano. Mr. Reynolds was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. In fact, he was the bodyguard for Dwight D. Eisenhower. After his service, he became a used car dealer from 1952-1985 in Ringoes, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie Cavanaugh, who died in 1985. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
