Rosalia Prokofiew

Rosalia Prokofiew, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Grϋn/Eisenstein, Czechoslovakia, May 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Katharina Altman Schrenk.

She was predeceased by her husband, Iwan Prokofiew, a daughter, Lidia Witkowski, and her siblings, Hilda Lapa, Anna Fehlberg, and Maria Hodowanec; and her nephew, Gary Fehlberg. Surviving are two daughters, Nadia (Dee) Petitt of Flemington, NJ, and Monica Polanco, and husband, Patrick, of South Plainfield, NJ; a son, Peter Prokofiew and wife, Adrian, of Frenchtown, NJ; six Grandchildren, four Great- grandchildren, four nephews, and two nieces.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
