Ronald W.A. Hatton, Sr., age 83 years, of the Ringoes section of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on March 6, 2005, at the Princeton University Medical Center, Princeton, NJ.
Born in Camden, NJ, November 19, 1921, he was the son of the late Walter Leslie and May Edwards Hatton. He had resided in Ringoes, NJ since 1965, having previously resided in Bound Brook, NJ.
He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving as a Tech Sergeant Mechanic. He retired as a manager from American Cyanamid Corporation, Bound Brook, NJ, in 1986, after forty years of service. He was a 1954 graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
He was a member and former officer of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Ringoes, NJ, and a member of the East Amwell Township Senior Citizens.
His wife, Viola Ruth Dottery Hatton, died in 1990. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hatton of Princeton, NJ, and Lynn Villano of Clinton Township, NJ; two sons, Thomas Edwards Hatton of Manassas, VA, and Ronald W.A. Hatton, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Arthur Hatton of Mililani, HI, and Walter Hatton of Tallahassee, FL; and eight grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 1 PM in the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Ringoes. Interment will be in Okolona, MS. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
