Robin Lynn Halozan

Robin Lynn Halozan, age 62 years, of Glen Gardner, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her home. Robin fought a long and courageous battle against cancer.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, May 25, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Joan (Glasser) Joho. She grew up in Warren, NJ, but had resided in Hunterdon County, NJ for over thirty years.

She had a B.S. degree from Centenary College in fashion merchandising and was passionate about fashion and business. She worked for her family printmaking business from a young age and was formerly employed as an office manager and bookkeeper.

Robin had strong faith in God and was active in several churches, including the First Presbyterian Church, Washington, NJ and most recently, the Spruce Run Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glen Gardner, NJ. She enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher, Christian Education Coordinator, and Vacation Bible School organizer. She even led bible studies out of her home. Additionally, she volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America and the Flemington Food Pantry.

Her hobbies and passions included gardening, photography, travelling, sewing, car shows, and exploring the outdoors. She was a “beach girl” and loved Ortley Beach and Seaside Park, NJ at the Jersey Shore where she vacationed every year with her family. Robin also loved boating, something she did from a very young age.

Robin will be remembered for her love for life, strength, and great sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, the late Albert Joho. Surviving is her husband of 33 years, Karl V. Halozan of Glen Gardner, NJ; and her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen Lynn Halozan and Brett J. Serridge, of Belvidere, NJ and many cherished relatives and friends.

Services are to take place at Spruce Run Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glen Gardner, NJ under direction of the church and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robin’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
