Robert Williams, age 82 years, of Ames, IA, died on October 21, 1982 in Ames, Iowa.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 30, 1900, he was the son of the late Charles Williams and Rosina Felger.
Mr. Williams served in the United States Navy during World War I.
He then worked as a meat cutter at the A & P Store in Flemington.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lina (Snyder) Williams, who died in 1961.
Interment in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Stockton, NJ.

Robert A. Williams, of 2518 Kellogg St., Ames, Iowa, died Thursday at the age of 82.
He had lived in Sergeantsville, NJ for 40 years before moving to Ames seven years before he died. He was a retired meat cutter and had worked for the A&P Store, Felmington.
He was a Navy veteran of World War I, and a member of the Sergeantsville United Methodist Church, the Sergeantsville Fire Co. and was past master of Orpheus Lodge F&AM, Stockton.
His wife, Lina Snyder Williams, had died in 1961.
He was survived by a daughter, with whom he lived in Ames; a brother, Walter, of Flemington, and two grandchildren.
Burial was in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Delaware Township.
