It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert J. Juray, who peacefully departed this life on June 20, 2025, in Flemington, NJ. Born on July 20, 1949, in Hungary, a country that he loved, Robert touched the lives of many throughout his 75 years.

Robert built a fulfilling life as a drywall contractor, initially working alongside his brother Erno, and later sharing both his profession and passion with his son, Robert D. Juray, Jr. His dedication to his work reflected his meticulous and perfectionist nature, earning him respect in his trade and affection from his clients.

Beyond his career, Robert's life was filled with many interests and passions. He was a devoted fan, often seen cheering for the New York Rangers and the Buffalo Bills, celebrating every thrilling moment with enthusiasm. He found joy in the simpler pleasures of life, such as watching classic TV Westerns, including “Gunsmoke” and “The Lone Ranger,” which brought him fond memories of yesteryears.

An avid lover of classic country music, he often found solace in the songs that defined generations. His adventurous spirit was captured through his love for racing his beloved '69 Camaro at Island Dragway and Raceway Park, a pastime that filled him with excitement and joy.

Robert's interests extended into hobbies that embraced the great outdoors. Whether it was hunting, planting trees, or hiking in new places, he cherished the beauty of nature and the serene moments it provided. He also took great pleasure in spending time with his family, often engaging in card games that fostered laughter and connection.

As a passionate bowler, Robert qualified for 26 Bowling Nationals, showcasing his competitive spirit. His travels to National Tournaments, especially those held in Nevada, were filled with cherished memories and a sense of camaraderie with his son, Robert and fellow bowlers.

Robert leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda D. (Higgins) Juray, as well as two sons: Robert D. Juray, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, and Michael E. Juray of Kingwood Township, NJ. He now joins his parents, Andy and Theresa (Brown) Juray, and his siblings: Andy Juray Jr., Erno Juray, Arpad Juray, and Erica Juray, who have predeceased him.

Robert J. Juray will be remembered not only for his achievements but also for his unwavering spirit and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in eternal peace.
