Robert Gerald Fouse, 79, of North Adams, Massachusetts, died on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Williamstown Commons.
He was born January 18, 1946, in Roaring Spring, PA, a son of Eugene and Mabel (Erb) Fouse. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Marine Corps, and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from York College of Pennsylvania in 1979. He worked in construction and was the proprietor of a construction materials business, enjoyed woodworking and singing in church choirs, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Anyone who met Bob knew his playful sense of humor and his incredible way of setting people at ease. He loved spending time with friends and family, and his kindness, generosity, and care for others left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to have known him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah (Samson) Fouse, who died on September 13, 2013, and is survived by his daughter, Lauri Hawley of Massachusetts, and two sons, David Fouse of New Mexico and Joel Fouse of Virginia. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Terry Fouse; two sisters, Virginia Rein and Jane Langley; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four siblings: Sarah “Sally” Chow, Richard Fouse, Ronald Fouse, and Mabel “Jean” Lee.
A memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Clover Hill Reformed Church in Hillsborough Township, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
