Born in Muncy, PA on April 2, 1893, he was the son of the late Joseph Shaw and Laura Baxter.

Mr. Shaw was a veteran of World War I.

He was formerly employed as a day laborer.

Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Lycoming County, PA.
