FLEMINGTON -- Robert E. Suydam died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1995, at his daughter's home in Franklin Township. He was 66.
Mr. Suydam was born in Quakertown, a son of LeRoy and Olive Leigh Suydam , and lived in Pittstown until moving to Flemington in 1973.
For the past 15 years, he was a maintenance worker at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion post and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, both in Flemington.
He was a member of the Quakertown Fire Company and the Quakertown Recreation Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia McGourty of Franklin Township and Susan Mowrey of Pittstown; four sons, Robert Suydam Jr. of Phillipsburg, David Suydam of New Bloomfield, Pa., and Kevin Suydam and Peter Suydam , both of Flemington; a brother, Charles ``Pete'' Suydam of Quakertown; 11 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
The calling period will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington.
Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown.
