Robert “Bob” C. Eichlin, age 60 years, of Williams Township, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
Born in Flemington, NJ, November 20, 1963, he was the son of Patricia (Rigaud) Eichlin and the late Robert Bodine Eichlin. He was raised in the Quakertown, NJ and Pittstown, NJ areas, before moving to Pennsylvania in 1988, where he had resided ever since.
He was a North Hunterdon Regional High School graduate, with the Class of 1982. Bob would go on to be the proprietor of Eichlin General Contractors, LLC, enjoying the construction business for over 30 years. He was known for his exceptional work-ethic and quality craftsmanship.
Bob excelled at all aspects of life, especially athletically. He raced motorcycles, was a triathlete and road cyclist, and a world champion and national champion mountain biker.
Bob was an amazing man, who touched many lives in many ways. Above all, he was a great husband, father, brother, and son to his family. He was their HERO and someone who would implore you to “never give up”.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, the late Brenda Eichlin, who passed away in 1997.
Surviving are his companion of over 38 years, beloved wife, Joan “Bay” (Tomminelli) Eichlin, of Williams Township, PA; his two children, Robert Vincent Eichlin and Holly Rose Eichlin, also of Williams Township, PA; his mother, Patricia Eichlin, of New Hope, PA; his sister and brother-in-law, Greta Eichlin-Bell and Frank Bell, III, of Pittstown, NJ; step-mother, Sally Eichlin, of Pittstown, NJ, half-brother and sister-in-law, John and Rose Eichlin, of New York, NY; nieces, Maggie Bell and her fiancé Chris Manz and Carey Bell Martin and her husband Eric Martin; as well as his beloved pets, Becca, Eli, and Snowbella.
Graveside services and burial in the family plot at Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home. A public celebration of Bob’s extraordinary life will be held in the fall. The date and time will be announced in the future at the discretion of his family.
