Richard T. Sanford Sr., age 75 years, of West Newfield, ME, died on April 1, 2002 at the Greenwood Center, 1142 Main St, Sanford, ME 04073. Born in Hillside, NJ on August 25, 1926, he was the son of Charles Sanford and Marion (Fourre) Sanford. Mr. Sanford was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946. He was a retired farmer and farrier, working in Dunellen, NJ. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
