Richard P. Siano, a distinguished airline pilot and passionate member of the aviation community, passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 87 in Trenton, New Jersey. Born on August 18, 1938, in Pennsylvania, Richard led a life devoted to both his family and his career.
Throughout his professional journey, Richard served as a dedicated airline pilot for TWA, where he not only showcased his piloting skills but also instilled a love for flying in others. He was a private pilot as well, further demonstrating his commitment to promoting the joys of aviation.
Richard is survived by his sons, Tadd A. Siano and Erik Kyle Siano, who will cherish the memories of their father’s wisdom, courage, and love. He is remembered with great affection by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He joins his late family members in rest, including his father, Steven Siano, his mother, Pauline Dougherty, his son, Troy S. Siano, and his brother, Don Siano. Richard’s legacy as a loving father and a dedicated pilot will continue to inspire future generations. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
