Born in South Branch, NJ on February 18, 1871, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan Higgins and Mathilda Kiple.

She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Higgins, who died in 1948.

Interment in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
