Philip Maltese, 85, of Ringoes died September 11, 1992 in Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Sicily, Italy, Mr. Maltese resided in Billings, Montana, before moving to Ringoes 35 years ago.
He retired in 1968 from Foran Foundry, Flemington.
Son of the late Nicolo and Santa Mannino Maltese and husband of the late Margaret Mannino Maltese, he is survived by five sons, Nick and Tony of Flemington, Peter of Sarasota, Florida, Salvator of Raritan and Frank of Ringoes; four daughters, Santa Palazzolo and Stella Maltese of Brooklyn, New York, Antinette O'Connor of Trenton, and Josephine Leone of Jamison, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Nick of Denver, Colorado, and Frank of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Magdalen Church, Flemington.
Interment followed in St. Magdalen Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
