Philip A. Sayles Jr.

Philip A. Sayles Jr., age 82 years, of La Jolla, CA, died on December 21, 2002 at his residence. Born in Long Island, NY on September 27, 1920, he was the son of the late Marguerite and Philip A. Sayles Sr.. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was the Senior VP of R.H. Macy & Co. in NYC and the Chief Executive and President of Allied Stores in Houston, TX, retiring in 1985. Philip is survived by his wife, Maria (Popescu) Sayles. Interment in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ.
