Peter Plennert, 86, of Raritan Township, died Tuesday, July 28, in Hunterdon Care Center.

He was a retired farmer and also at one time was employed by Ethyl-Visqueen Corp. in Raritan Township.

Born March 14, 1912, in EIizabeth, N.J., he was a son of the late Martin and Anna Bauman Plennert. He lived in Raritan Township most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Small; a daughter, Anna May Vanselous of Frenchtown; a son, Peter of Three Bridges; a brother, Herbert of Bethlehem; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Call noon Sunday to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
