Patricia Bryan Cronce, age 89 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Born in Quakertown, PA on March 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Hannah (Gable) Bryan. She was a long-time resident of Hunterdon County, NJ (80 years), where she dedicated her life to both her family and community.

A proud graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1954, Pat channeled her dedication into a meaningful career as a school bus driver for special needs students before her retirement. Her compassionate spirit and commitment to fostering the growth and development of children were hallmarks of her professional life.

Whether at work or at home, Pat’s life was rooted in love and generosity. She was an avid gardener who took pride in helping things grow and flourish, and she brought that same nurturing spirit to her family. As the devoted mother of seven children and the rescuer of many beloved cats and dogs, she gave endlessly of herself, filling the lives of those around her with kindness, warmth, and unconditional love.

Pat is survived by her loving children: Bill Cronce of Lebanon, VA; Judy Theobald of Milford, NJ; Pam Stewart of Green Lane, PA; Marianne Schaller of Moorestown, NJ; and Cindy Binder of Armonk, NY; as well as 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, the late James Henry Cronce, Sr. in 2020, as well as two of her sons, Jeffrey Cronce and James H. Cronce, Jr.

Patricia B. Cronce leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, exemplified in her relationships with family and friends, as well as the many lives she touched throughout her life. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Public graveside services and burial in the family plot at Saint Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ will take place at a later date.
