Orville J. Hale

O. J. "Jimmie" Hale died at his Flemington home on March 9, 1986. He was 87. He had lived in Flemington since 1962.

He graduated from Bowling Green University and was a former editor at newspapers in Sistersville, W. Va., and Cumberland, Md.

He also operated a public relations office in Somerville and for 22 years served as executive vice president of the Somerset County Board of Realtors. He retired shortly before he died.

He was a past president of the New Jersey Society of Association Executives and past chairman of the New Jersey Realtor Executive Officers.

He was survived by his wife, Catherine O'Rourke Hale; a daughter; a brother and two grandchildren.
