Milton Sabo

Milton Sabo, age 77 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, October 23, 2009 at his residence.

Born in Flemington, NJ, March 11, 1932, son of the late Milton and Margaret Barlow Sabo, he had resided in the Flemington, NJ area all his life.

He was a lineman for forty-two years with Jersey Central Power and Light Company, Flemington, NJ, and later worked at Pete's Paint Store, Flemington, NJ and also for NAPA Auto Parts, Flemington, NJ.

A United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Sabo was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed fishing in Canada. He was a member of Flemington VFW Post #7856, a member of the Flemington American Legion Post #159 and the Golden Gloves Boxing Club.

His two brothers and a sister, Wiley Sabo, Douglas Sabo and Marjorie LaMothe, pre-deceased him.

Surviving are his wife of sixty years, Betty Luster Sabo; three sons, Frank Sabo of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Michael Sabo and Milton "Pete" Sabo, both of Flemington, NJ; two daughters, Katherine Bassett and Krystal Sabo, both of Ringoes, NJ; a sister, Margaret Sabo of Flemington, NJ; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
