Born May 6, 1931 in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth (Foster) Shoemaker.
She was survived by her husband, John H. Rufe.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home. Burial was in Mountainview Cemetery, Cokesbury.
