Maryann Bacorn

Maryann Bacorn, age 89 years, former long-time resident of Hunterdon County, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Pine Run Retirement Community in Doylestown, PA.

Born in Flemington, NJ, September 4, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Kreitler) Bacorn.

She was a graduate of Flemington High School, with the Class of 1953.

Maryann devoted her life to the nursing profession. She was a graduate of the Mercer Hospital School of Nursing, Trenton, NJ, then went on to receive her B.S. from the Cedar Crest College, School of Nursing in 1970, and finally her B.A., again from Cedar Crest College, Allentown, PA in 1978. 

She had a long career at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ, where she was the Evening Administrative Supervisor. Additionally, she was also employed by the Mountainview Youth Correctional Facility in Lebanon, NJ.

A passionate animal lover, she was a long-standing member of the Hunterdon SPCA.

Among her survivors is her sister, Jane Griffin; as well as two nieces, one nephew, and several cousins.

Visitation and services at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by burial with her parents at Cherryville Mountainview Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ, will be announced in the coming days.
