Mary Salamanchuk

Mary Salamanchuk, age 88, of Delaware Township, NJ, died February 15, 1993 at her home.

She was the daughter of John and Tekla Galant Sidwar. Her siblings included John, Michael, William, Harry, Andrew and Frank Sidwar and sisters, Julia Alexis, Kathryn Robins and Anna Mills.

She was married to Mike Salamanchuk, who predeceased her in 1975. They were the parents of 12 children: John E. of Cattaraugas, New York; Michael Mike of Ketchikan, Alaska; George of Central Square, New York; Madeline Harris of Orange; Mary Guziejewski of Stockton; Catherine Kelly of Ketchikan, Alaska; Eleanore Fetko of Ellijay, Georgia; Virginia Napurano of Hopewell and Lavina Slawinski of Green Brook, NJ. She was predeceased by daughters Ann Covairt and Lorraine McNeil. She was also survived by 29 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Spangler, Pennsylvania.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
