Born in Elizabeth, NJ on December 23, 1909, he was the son of the late Martin J. Hettman, Sr., and Rose Schneider.

Mr. Hettman was a retired carpenter for Geo. Vocke Contractors in Sergeantsville, NJ.

He was survived by his wife, (Mary) Martha Williamson Hettman.

Interment in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ.
