Marion H. Liegel

Marion Liegel, age 82 years, of Belvidere, NJ, died on Friday, November 26, 2004, at Forest Manor Health Care Center, Hope, NJ.

Born in Secaucus, NJ, November 6, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Gedaschke Stolle. She had resided in Three Bridges, NJ for many years, Jacksonville, FL, Holland Township, NJ, and then moved to Belvidere, NJ two years ago.

She was a former cafeteria worker at the Three Bridges School, and she was a member of the Three Bridges Reformed Church.

Her husband, George Liegel, died in 1962, and a son, George E. Liegel, Jr., died in 1992. She is survived by two sons; Belvidere, NJ Mayor Charles J. Liegel, and Joseph Liegel in Mississippi; two sisters, Margaret Fischer, of Holland Township, NJ, and Dorothy Leon, of Sergeantsville, NJ; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
