Marian D. Abegg

Marian D. Abegg, age 84 years, of Broad Acres Estates, Flemington, died March 30, 1982 in Raritan Health and Extended Care Center, Raritan.

Born in Flemington, she had lived there most of her life. She was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and received her master's degree from Syracuse University. She was a member of Cherryville Baptist Church, the Colonel Lowrey Chapter of the D.A.R. in Flemington, and the Hunterdon County Historical Society.

Her husband, Fred A. Abegg, died in 1976. Surviving are a son, Dr. Edmund Abegg of Edinboro, PA; a daughter, Mrs. June Zubrycki of Carmel, NY; a brother, Charles Deats of Plainfield; a sister, Mrs. Helen Prince of Westfeld, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville.
