Linda M. Barile

Linda M. Barile of Raritan Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born in the Bronx, NY, March 14, 1964, Linda was the daughter of the late Timothy and Patricia (Gormley) Quinlan. Linda grew up in the Bronx and Yonkers, NY, she then lived in West Harrison, NY after getting married to her loving husband, Mike, in September 1985. Linda, Mike, and their children moved to Raritan Township in 1992, where she has lived since.

Linda’s life would seem too short for many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts far exceed the quantity of time she stayed here.

Linda was an inspiration to so many – she was an extremely intelligent, strong, loving woman that always had a positive, “can-do, never give-up attitude.” She worked as the Office Manager at Hunterdon Family Physicians in Flemington and prior to that she owned a medical billing company, as well as other management roles in her career.

Linda enjoyed traveling on vacations, reading a good book and spending time having fun with friends. Her greatest love was spending time with her children (“My Boys” as she called them); she was tremendously proud of them all and would often say, "What fine men they are now.” The family grew with a daughter in-law, Heather, a grandson, Daniel, and very soon to be daughter-in-law, Katie. This growing family gave her more happiness and strength than anyone could ever imagine.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mike, her three children, Michael Barile, and his fiancé, Katie Glasgow, Kevin and his wife, Heather Barile, and John Barile, a grandson, Daniel, her brothers, Mike Quinlan and his wife, Denise, Steven Quinlan and his wife, Julie, and Timothy Quinlan. Also, her nieces and nephews, Michael Quinlan, Kristine Moller, Jennifer Smith and Sean Quinlan, as well as so many other family members and close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Inurnment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum on North Main Street in Flemington. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
