Born in Raritan Township, NJ on June 2, 1904, he was the son of the late John Bartles and Henrietta Hill.

Mr. Bartles was a farmer.

Lester was survived by his wife, Elanor (Stenabaugh) Bartles.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
