Lela L. Purcell, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died December 14, 1984 in Villa Maria, North Plainfield.
Born July 9, 1902 in Quincy, Washington, she was the daughter of Merriet and Grace (LaDeaux) Layport. Mrs. Purcell was a teacher for the Flemington-Raritan School System.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kyran James Purcell, in 1946.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Magdalen Church, Flemington. Interment was in Saint Philip and Saint James Cemetery, Greenwich Township.
